Party, Marketing & Events Co-ordinator

Safari MK are looking to expand the Safari MK family! We have an extremely exciting role available for a Party, Marketing & Events Co-ordinator.

We need someone with superb administrative skills, a passion for delivering great customer service and of course a love of seeing people have fun. This opportunity is truly unique in the events sector. Can you think on your feet, thrive under pressure, and of course enjoy having fun at work?

We need someone to join our Events team who has the following:

Exemplary administrative skills, be computer savvy and a friendly but professional telephone manner. You will be booking in a lot of parties every week and ensuring the operations team have all the correct details, which requires great attention to detail as well as speed. Experience of working in a fast-paced commercial environment will be beneficial. It will be both hard work and fun, but you will definitely need to enjoy the ‘buzz’ of a hospitality and leisure environment. Along with the in-house parties, this role will help to over-see all events held in the centre and at different locations around the local area. A desire to keep learning will see the right candidate expanding their knowledge and skills base and be part of the team to ensure the success of every area of Safari MK.

Key responsibilities of the job include –

  • Digital Marketing
  • Social Media Marketing including Facebook, Twitter & Instagram
  • Email Marketing campaigns
  • Organising, marketing and running events, both in-house and external
  • Office Administration including use of Microsoft office packages
  • Booking and co-ordinating in-house children’s parties
  • Complaint Handling
  • Managing and training of Party Host team

Party Host - we run amazing parties and always on the look out for totally amazing people to join our party host team.

Salary: Hourly rate on application

Part time, mainly weekends but some midweek opportunities as well

We need a team of Party Hosts who just love being with people.  You will be responsible for the following:

  • Meeting and greeting parents on arrival 
  • Getting dressed up in the appropriate costume, whether it be a pirate, lion, knight or princess, depending on which themed room you are looking after that day
  • Ensure the kids have fun, playing games as required
  • Making sure the birthday children are totally spoilt throughout their whole party
  • Serve the food in the themed party room including running a 'Cake Ceremony'
  • Tidy up the party room ready for your next party

This is an amazing opportunity for people who enjoy working and interacting with people.  These jobs are predominantly weekend roles but we are also looking for some midweek staff.
